We recently have noticed that the Presence is missing for all Common Area Phones. What should I look for to fix this. We have had the Privacy Mode turned on for a while now...not sure if this is what killed it, but I have no good place to start. What should I be checking?

With enhanced presence privacy mode, users can restrict their presence information  so that it is visible only to the contacts listed in their Lync 2013 Contacts list. For test purpose, you can disable enhanced presence privacy mode to see if the presence information is available again on Common Area Phones.

Is there no documentation that actually states what the behavior should be. This is a large production environment, so I can not just switch things off to see what it does.
